# Plans and pricing

> Compare the Foundation, Horizon, and Frontier plans, their seat prices, and the credits each one includes.

Plain has 3 plans: Foundation, Horizon, and Frontier. Each plan charges a price for every [member seat](/docs/product/billing/seats), the seat a user needs to reply to customers, and includes a monthly allowance of [credits](/docs/product/billing/credits) for your workspace. [Viewer seats](/docs/product/billing/seats#viewer-seats) are free and unlimited on every plan. Every plan starts with a free 7-day trial, and the trial doesn't need a credit card.

## Compare plans

Each plan suits a different size of support team, and each one includes everything in the plan before it. The lists below highlight some of the features in each plan, not all of them.

### Foundation

Foundation is for early-stage companies. It supports up to 5 member seats and includes, among other features:

* 25 Slack channels and 2 email addresses
* 1 [Help Center](/docs/product/help-center), with a knowledge base, [Ask AI](/docs/product/help-center/help-center-ask-ai), and a [customer inbox](/docs/product/help-center/customer-inbox)

### Horizon

Horizon is for companies with a dedicated Support or Success function. It supports 3 to 10 member seats and includes everything in Foundation, plus, among other features:

* Unlimited Slack channels, up to 10 [email addresses](/docs/product/channels/email-alternate-addresses), and unlimited Help Centers
* [Microsoft Teams](/docs/product/channels/microsoft-teams), [Discord](/docs/product/channels/discord), and a [headless support portal](/docs/headless-portal)

* [Team reporting](/docs/product/platform/team-reporting) and [suggested responses](/docs/product/agents/ari/suggested-responses)

### Frontier

Frontier is for large support organizations and enterprise teams. It supports 10 or more member seats and includes everything in Horizon, plus, among other features:

* Volume-based seat pricing or organization-wide pricing
* Up to 25 email addresses
* [External Agents](/docs/product/agents/bring-your-own-agent), so you can bring your own agent to Plain
* Concierge onboarding

## Prices and included credits

Plain's pricing has two components: [seats](/docs/product/billing/seats) and [credits](/docs/product/billing/credits). You pay for each member seat on your team, and your plan includes a monthly allowance of credits for your workspace's usage-based features. The included allowance is designed to help you get started with them.

Seat prices are per [member seat](/docs/product/billing/seats#member-seats) per month. Included credits go to the whole workspace each month, including on annual plans, and reset on your [billing anniversary](/docs/product/billing/credits#your-monthly-allowance). For what each action costs, see [what uses credits](/docs/product/billing/credits#what-uses-credits).

| Plan | Billing | Seat price | Included credits per month | Member seats |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| Foundation | Monthly | \$55 | 1,000 | Up to 5 |
| Foundation | Annual | \$45 | 1,000 | Up to 5 |
| Horizon | Monthly | \$139 | 2,500 | 3 to 10 |
| Horizon | Annual | \$99 | 2,500 | 3 to 10 |
| Frontier | Annual | Custom | Custom | 10 or more |

Frontier is available on annual billing only. For Frontier pricing, email [sales@plain.com](mailto:sales@plain.com).

If your workspace needs more credits than its plan includes, you can [buy top-up credits](/docs/product/billing/credits#buy-top-up-credits) or [increase your monthly allowance](/docs/product/billing/credits#increase-your-monthly-allowance).

## Startup pricing

Early-stage startups may be eligible for up to 50% off through the [Startup Plan](https://www.plain.com/startups). Email [sales@plain.com](mailto:sales@plain.com) to find out more.
