# Account deleted

> Fired when an account in your workspace is deleted.

This event is fired when an account is deleted. An account is the new name for a [tenant](/docs/product/platform/tenants): the company or organization your customers belong to.

The payload contains `previousAccount`, the account as it was before it was deleted.

This event was added in webhook version [`2026-10-06`](/docs/webhooks/versions). Targets on earlier versions don't receive it.
