The Help Center has a new design

Your Plain help center has a new design that makes it easier for your customers to find an answer, and easier to ask for one when they can't. It's live on the help center already.

Search, Ask a human, and Ask an AI agent are in the same bar on every page: A customer can search your articles, open a conversation with your AI agent, or reach a person from wherever they already are. And the Inbox sits in the same top-nav bar.

Your articles are grouped under your own section headings: The homepage shows those groupings, plus a ⌘K shortcut for people who'd rather type than click. Your customers can digest your documentation at a glance, which helps when they don't yet know what to search.

Every article has a table of contents and a copy button: The table of contents runs down the right side and tracks where the reader is, so a long article is navigable. We added a copy button so customers can pull an answer into their own agent or their own thread.

The Inbox and the request form have the new design too: Your customers see their own requests grouped by status, with filters and a New Request button. The request form takes free text plus whatever custom fields you've configured. Your logo and workspace name carry through the header and into the AI chat panel, which also tells customers who at your company can see the conversation.
