Hubspot & Salesforce sync

Bring your customer and account data from HubSpot or Salesforce directly into Plain and give your support team the full picture of who they’re speaking to and the history behind each account the moment a thread begins.

  • Sync any field and see it right alongside your conversation with the customer.

  • Push conversations back to your CRM to keep the rest of your team in the loop.

  • Create and Update tiers automatically

  • And… Create automations based on the values in these synced fields

To set this up, go to Settings → Integrations → Salesforce or Settings → Integrations → HubSpot.

Available on the Grow and Scale plans.

Improvements

  • GitHub integration improvements

When you only have one repository connected, it will now be automatically selected so you can create issues faster.

  • Hide done threads in chat widget
You can now hide completed threads in the chat widget to focus only on active conversations. Turn this on by adding hideDoneThreads: true to your chat configuration

  • New user reporting charts

Gain deeper insights into your team’s activity with new charts showing total messages sent, message volume by Tier, SLA compliance, number of threads marked as done, and a heat map showing when messages are sent throughout the day.

  • Notification sound for new threads

A subtle sound can now play when a new thread arrives in the queue. It’s off by default but can be enabled in your user preferences to help you stay on top of incoming messages.

  • Performance and clarity updates

We’ve reduced the number of metrics requests made when loading Insights pages for a faster experience, and deleted users or agents are now hidden from assignment menus to avoid confusion.

  • Welcome message in Slack

When Plain is added to a channel, a short welcome message now appears to confirm setup and guide your team on next steps.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed pagination in the Insights survey response table to show all responses correctly.

  • Fixed an issue where navigating between workspaces could cause client-side data from one workspace to appear in another.
