Sidekick Tools (Beta)

Sidekick can now connect to the tools your team already uses and pull context from them directly inside a support conversation.
7 integrations are available at launch: Linear, Sentry, Incident.io, Notion, Granola, Datadog, and Slack, with more rolling out over the coming days.
Alongside tool integrations, a few other capabilities are shipping with this release:
GitHub code access — install the Plain Sidekick GitHub App to give Sidekick read access to selected repos. Sidekick can read files and search code across your codebase.
File attachments — attach files to a Sidekick session; Sidekick can also generate files (CSVs, charts, reports) and share them as downloadable outputs.
Custom system prompt — append workspace-level instructions to shape how Sidekick behaves for your team.
Visible tool calls — Sidekick's reasoning steps and tool lookups are shown in real time as it works.
Tool integrations are currently read-only. Integrations are Beta, but we're expanding integration breadth based on early feedback before a wider rollout.
